Slow motion Blood

I have install blood and use all step of VDM and blood
work

but one thing is happening , the game is very slow and sometimes it's run like a 386 ,when i turn to go in a way is turn again ???? what a f*** is going on , if anyone can help me please thank for all

Hmmm...what kind of soundcard do you have?
What graphics card do you have?

My graphic card is a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 256 MB
Sound card is PCI C-media 8738 but it's work fine for dos games

Hmmm.....this could be difficult to diagnose....probably got something to do with the sound card.Try setting it`s hardware acceleration to the lowest level.....have a fiddle with different settings in the Blood setup etc.And see if there are any newer drivers for the sound card.You might need evilcaleb`s fix for the video if you want to run higher resolutions too.

Sorry that`s the best i can suggest.Any one else got any ideas?.

:oThank for help me , one more thing , i've install VGAfix maybe it's that thing make my graphic card crazy , for the sound i have no problem at all
everything is alright only the slowly gameplay

Everyone can search anything about playing blood correctly , all i can say is
F*** Atari , You buy a old games and you love it because it's unique and you can trash it , because they don't want to give the f****** source code , i am very angry because it's just give the source code to do something right , and no they don't want , WHY??? the second thing is windows XP "windows NT with XP"

i feel so sick

I agree,OzzyPat.I say we do a "Mission Impossible" style infiltration of Atari hq to retrieve the source code!!! I`ll be the dashing Tom Cruise (of course!!)

He,he..."were GOING to do it!!".........only kidding Atari!!!

Try reinstalling everything from scratch without the VGA fix.....at least if it works you will have a decent frame rate but low res.

Come on...anyone else with any suggestions???.

I know this topic is a little dated but it is either your sound card or just bad luck cuase my copy of Blood does the same thing.
I know I'm not much of a help but I would love to play the last three episodes without slow preformance....
