Bad Versions of Blood that crashes under XP SP2

Post by kevingpo » Fri Sep 15, 2006 8:45 am

Am confused with all these versions of Blood. So here's what I researched:

(v 1.00)
$ md5sum BLOOD.EXE
e19fb1bc7aad2ae23db61eeef10ac382 *BLOOD.EXE
Kali II: ID#76, VERSION (cf1d)

(v 1.11)
$ md5sum BLOOD.EXE
f981cc8b30c6e4ec6b8f5befa4bfb279 *BLOOD.EXE
Kali II: ID#76, VERSION 1.11

(v 1.20)
$ md5sum BLOOD.EXE
94df54d37883bbf070ee746ebc258295 *BLOOD.EXE
Kali II: ID#76, VERSION 1.2

--------------------------------

On Kali it lists Blood versions:
1.02 (SW)
1.02
1.10
1.11
Plasma
1.2
1.11 (SW)
1.21 Whole Blood

So I guess it won't support deathmask's 0.99a shareware?
The thing is, I have never ever since a patch for 1.21. Not even on blood.lith.com or planetblood.com or deathmask.net.

Also, Blood run fastest with VDMSound under XP (initial version) and XP SP1a. Blood 1.11 crashes under XP.

Please can someone confirm version 1.00 is the same md5sum as mine. And that's what they see in Kali II too.

Their is no patch for 1.21 because with One Unit Whole Blood you just got 1 CD but the installation has Blood, Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage all smushed into one, so theirs no need for patching. Guess they wanted it to have it's own version number.

Hmm... coz I have friends who have 1.21 One Unit Whole Blood. and I only have 1.11 or 1.20 normal Blood. Does that mean I can't play them unless I get Plasma Pak & Cryptic Passage too?

PS: Wilis (forum admin), sort out the pr0n hax0rs!

The only version of Blood I can get working on xp s2 is shareware. I've heard that others have found a work around though. No info about that, sad to say.

The spam is being deleted as quickly as possible. That's the best we can do until willis gets back.
