Using AddOns in SWP and EDuke32

Post by DeM0n » Sun Jul 16, 2006 3:54 pm

http://diadu.net/downloads/Yay.rar

A nice little RAR file.

Since Jono's ports aren't working properly on Vista I had to switch to EDuke32 and SWP.

Just copy the contents into the respective game folders.
Run the *.bat files.
Enjoy.

SW:
WT.Bat - Wanton Destruction
Twin Dragon.Bat - Twin Dragon

EDuke32
The Gate.bat - The Gate

No idea if you need the original *.grp files but I'd guess so and I won't provide those.

You can write your own *bat files for other add ons. Right click on a *.bat file to see how it's build.

To make your own, just create a new notepad document, write whatever and then "Save As..." -> "All Files (*.*)" and save it as "nameitwhateveryouwant.bat"

I didn't know about it before until I downloaded the 3D models for JFduke, they came with a bat file. Then I read the release notes for JonoF SW and yeah. lol :D
More or less came across it by accident XD
