shadow warrior spawn error

I followed everything to the letter - but when I select the file downloaded in step 8 the dos window opens then closes
I did try the setup icon first but that does the same thing happens
I tryed to run the setup with vdms and got closer to having it work but now it hangs up on a spawn error...
any comments?
I want to some WANG!!!! love the shuriken....
