:( Ok. I'm used to running Blood in DOSBox, but have had enough slowdown to prompt me to find an alternate way of playing the game. So, I followed the instructions at http://buildxp.deathmask.net/ verbatim, however I'm getting the following messages.

(Via Pre-Configured VMDSound shortcut): "Error <1> could not load 'Vddloader.dll' DLL not found or DLL entry point error." The window then closes.

(Via cmd): "This system does not support fullscreen mode. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

:?: Where & how do I start to troubleshoot this issue?

Here's the most up-to-date way to run blood on xp. Please note that xp is not recommended by anyone these days as hardware changes have all but made xp an impossible platform to run build games from.

DosBox is the best way to run blood period. The most extensive threads for DosBox can be found at the postmortem.

 Thanks for the links. I should've mentioned that I'm using Windows 7. I'm also curious if any of the software furnished on http://buildxp.deathmask.net/ would help the game that I run through the DOSBox (I'll find that out for myself) and whether there are any patches or mods that I should download to make it run smoother (any recommendations would be appreciated).
