Need help getting good sound in Blood v1.00

Post by Solo » Mon Feb 06, 2006 6:33 am

My friend Jane had Blood v1.00 and it runs on xp with no trouble but I was going to ask how I could get sound better and enable the movies.
After I beat a boss it shows the monolith logo then it gose to a black screen.
I could use a little help on this.

Thanks

To improve sound make sure the mixing rate is set to 22 Khz.

As for the movies, here is where you can get them: http://www.deathmask.net/files/movies/
Place in blood/movies game directory, then edit the blood.ini file
to reflect your harddrive game directory for each file.

For the black screen conflict, attempt to turn the resolution down and see how it changes.

Is there a way I can run the movie's without playing the game?
If not do the movies play after the boss battle or before?

Hmm... I'm not sure but I don't remember ever hearing about playing movies outside the game. I am going to guess that the movies play after the boss battle since you get to see Caleb blasting the boss away in the movie.
