Fix for Shadow Warrior : Wanton Destruction!

Post by Guest » Sat Apr 08, 2006 11:35 am

Basically you have to run cli2nop -p wanton.DAT

The dat file is like the exe for wanton destruction.

Doing this will rid you of the massive slowdown and sound studdering.

P.S. It took me 5 hours to figure this out and I figure most people would just give up.

You can`t run Wanton with JonoF`s port yet?...give it a whirl if you can run it with the port.

You can. You have to write your own *.bat file

SW.Bat

Right Click and "Save Target as"

You must have wanton destruction installed and you must be using jonof's shadow warrior port.

At first this won't look like wanton destruction at all. Just select the 2nd episode (still called "Code of honor") But it will load the wanton levels.

Don't yell at me, I just made that and only checked the first level lol

Sorry for the double post. You MUST save the sw.bat file in your shadow warrior directory.

Hey, no problem. But it's far from perfect and I only came across the info for that by accident when I was reading the "Releasenotes" html doc. that you get with JF's Shadow Warrior port.

You guys are great! I mean it. I must have played this game 2400 times through high skool and hung out for wanton to caome out and it never did in Oz. Ah nostalgia!

Maybe you can help me with this last problem I have...

I get fuzzy gfx while playing blood in all of the VESA modes. I have a radeon X1900XT card...
