I'm getting a framerate slowdown (graphics and sound/music) in Cryptic Passage, but only from the Boat level and onwards. Before that it works OK. Why is this and how do I fix it?

you may want to try this..

'right click on the vdms shortcut, then click on properties, then click on the performance tab on the dialog which pops up, then under the 'DOS Scheduling' section you'll see the checkbox there.'

basically you want tohave the Cap performance option unclicked
