a version of dos for XP (& Vista I think) called freedos. You will still need sound emulation like SoundFX 2000 to run Blood & similar games.

my apologies, for some reason I thought this was a version of dos which was rigged to run on winxp which of course its not. You would probably be better off dual booting into regular dos, which is not what people ost people want to do.
