I recently used the guide to help play Duke Nukem 3D on my XP system. i followed the guide exactly, but when I go to run the program using the provided shortcut, I get an error message. The message is as follows:
"VDMS Launchpad - duke3d
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal intsruction.
CS:0018 IP:1084 OP:ff ff 00 00 98 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application."
Any idea on how to fix this?

Not to sound rude, but why are people using the VDMsound method for games like Duke 3D and Shadow Warrior when they can use the source ports?
I haven't played around with VDMsound for a long time but you really are better off with the source ports when it comes to duke3d and SW.
