BLOOD with CD MUSIC !!! < here

Post by White.Sux » Fri Feb 15, 2008 1:19 pm

first its very important that you download this "CD VERSION" of BLOOD

http://www.abandonware-france.org/ltf_a ... &fic=liens

( click on "CD VERSION" and then on the blue written word "TELECHARGEMENT" dont worry its UK version 430 MB )

the second thing you have to do is getting DAEMON TOOLS LITE :

http://www.disc-tools.com/download/daemon

OK now youre almost set.......but u still need the files like cli2nop NOLFB and so on !

what i mean is !

MOUNT the DOWNLOADED CD in DEAMON TOOLS and install from there !

then do everything like you would do the normal way with BUILD XP
and then while you start BLOOD using DEATHMASKS TIPS just let the BLOOD CD mounted in DEAMON TOOLS and VOILA !

you can hear the CD MUSIC TRACKS from HDD without a CD in DRIVE !

Thanks for this tutorial! However, I keep receiving the error: CD-rom not initialized and I've already made sure to mount the image via WinMount. If I run the game without VDMS, the game does not suffer that problem but closes upon initiation.

I haven't tried this yet but I own the CD version of blood (purchased from an actual store rather than downloaded ;)) and even with the CD in the drive I can't seem to do ANYTHING to get it to play the CD music... Maybe its just my version though. I might try this some time.

well,

i have to say that theres one thing i forgot to mention above.....

idk if you guys know about the BLOOD.ini in the BLOOD Dir after installing Blood from the ISO

theres a file named Blood.ini in the main dir of blood......

and theres something written about how to get the videos run without putting the CD in drive / mounting the CD......

i didi it like this........

i just copied the MOVIE folder from my blood ISO to the main dir of blood
and then just changed ALL the paths in BLOOD.ini that they match......

i think this is a important step, though i dont know if it matters its just my guess.......
