How to view/convert .SEQ files?

Post by CHYROS » Thu May 11, 2006 1:12 am

Hi guys, I'm back, howdy all.

I just noticed the Build games use a .SEQ format for their graphics. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing they contain both monster/player/projectile sprites, and the FPS "hand view" sprites. I located the Blood ones in BLOOD.RFF and the Powerslave ones in STUFF.DAT; anyone knows how to vfiew or convert them to a normal file?

www.filext.com gives a dozen possible file types; the ones concerning graphics don't seem to apply to this type of SEQ. I've tried XnView, which is a great viewer one of the types applies to, but to no avail.

As I downloaded the Blood Alpha version (http://www.deathmask.net/files/alpha/), I found out that there are about 35 exe-files, some are the normal Blood files (blood.exe, mapedit.exe etc) but there are also some things like SEQedit.exe, maybe this is something you are looking for. But as I didn't start any of these files I can't promise that to work ;)
