It's possible to play Blood in high-resolution with this guide- http://www.glidos.net/blood.html However, I discovered that when playing Blood with Glidos, the TNT boxes are no longer rendered in 3D. I only played it a little bit so I'm not sure about the other objects. Here's an alternate way to pl...

First off, which method are you using? Are you using DOSBox to run the game, using Deathmask's XP Guide, using Jonof's port, Glidos method, or just running Vanilla Duke Nukem 3D? I doubt it's that hard to get Jonof's build working. I had no problem with a fresh copy of Duke 3D and install Jonof on it.

Jonof's Duke3D

So, have you tried Jonof's port yet? Not only is it much easier to get working, but it sports better visuals and more features.

Thanks for this tutorial! However, I keep receiving the error: CD-rom not initialized and I've already made sure to mount the image via WinMount. If I run the game without VDMS, the game does not suffer that problem but closes upon initiation.

High Resolution?

I believe the term you are looking for is seamless, which means harmonious and smooth. Are you running the game in high-res? I appear to have trouble getting the patch to work correctly.

Powerslave works fine with DOSBox

I managed to get this game working with the help of another user without all the booting. Simply use DOSBox and enable dynamic core.

You have to increase speed a lot or else the game will run really choppy, do that by increasing CPU cycles.
